This position is for a Summer 2020 Intern in Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering located in Redmond, WA.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing materials related technical support to product teams, receiving inspection materials testing, wet chemistry analysis, metallography, hardware cleanliness verification, processing development support, failure analysis, and manufacturing process development.
This internship will contribute to the candidate’s ability to enter the Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering discipline as an entry-level engineer (after graduation).
This is a summer 2020 intern position (start date in May or June 2020) that supports the engineering group (Chemistry Lab) at our Camden, AR facility.
Under direct supervision, the Engineer performs professional work following a set of policies and procedures for guidance. This position requires some professional judgment and a limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Performs chemical analyses, routine syntheses, tests, and experiments where procedures are well established. Completes documentation and writes test reports to document findings.
This is a summer 2020 intern position (start date in May or June 2020) that supports a quality engineering group in our Huntsville, AL facility. The role is involved with supporting quality engineering functions at the Advanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) for defense applications. The position requires a limited use and/or application of basic engineering principles, theories and concepts. Responsibilities include general and specialized assignments that provide training and work experience of a developmental nature.
This is a summer 2020 intern position that will support the Composite Design Engineering Department. After orientation and training, the intern will perform entry level engineering tasks on rocket propulsion projects. This position will support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with Aerojet Rocketdyne projects. The candidate must be able to operate effectively in a team environment. This internship position will start approximately May 2020 and will be located at our facility in Huntsville, AL. Longer term, this position may lead to a full-time position.
