Aerojet Rocketdyne is currently seeking an Associate Analyst, Material Planning to join our team in our West Palm Beach, Florida location. We are looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated, and organized individual. Candidates will work in a dynamic position with a diverse product range.
This position may be filled at the level posted or at the next higher level.
Working under close supervision and following established procedures, job responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
50% - Review Material Requirements Plan (MRP); problem-solve exception messages. Release Supplier Requisitions and Shop Orders for both Bill of Material (BOM) and independent demand requirements. Identify and initiate Program Inventory Surplus/Close Out.
30% - Support Senior Analyst. Under general supervision, analyze program demand, create requisitions, maintain horizontal plan or line of balance for consumable items, initiate material transfers, create new Part Numbers, and other as required tasks.
10% - Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the specific program effort.
10% - Engage in Career Development opportunities including APICS certification classes, Lean Six Sigma classes.
Requires a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business Management / Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or other Technical Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
