Aerojet Rocketdyne is a worldwide recognized leader in space and missile propulsion with the design, development and manufacture of solid rocket motors for tactical and space applications.
We are seeking an Associate Engineer, Ballistician to join our Huntsville, AL office. In this entry-level role, you will assist senior ballisticians in performing combustion, grain design and performance analysis of solid rocket motor and igniter propellant grains. You will also assist in developing methodologies and models for the performance prediction of sub and full scale solid rocket motor test firings and conducts subsequent post firing correlation analysis.
Under close supervision, the Associate Engineer performs entry-level professional assignments and follows established policies.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
