    We are seeking a Program Pricing Intern for our West Palm Beach, FL office.

    Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

    Under close supervision, the Program Pricing Intern assists and supports the objectives with necessary analysis and review of products by performing the following:

     

    85% - Supports material estimating tasks, to include:

    • Reads and understands proposal (RFP) requirements and documents.
    • Works with external groups to learn and help facilitate the Bill of Materials (BOM) process, to include Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
    • Coordinate with Supply Chain to gain exposure and knowledge of current supply and inventory processes as they relate to material estimation.
    • Work with other analysts to learn estimating process and incorporate those processes into the BOM
    • Responsible to ensure compliance with FAR/TINA requirements and work with other analysts and necessary resources to verify compliance on work prepared for the Material Estimators

    15% - Supports the development and maintenance of pricing systems and procedures through data management and analysis.

    Requirements

    Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program majoring in, Industrial or Systems engineering, Business Administration with concentration in systems, data management or data systems and have completed their junior year of study. Solid academic track record, good communication skills and attention to detail.

     

    Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. particularly for tabulation and charting data. Knowledge of advanced Excel functions a plus.

     

    US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

     

     

    Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

    Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
