Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking an Associate Quality Analyst to join our facility in Culpeper, Virginia. Under close supervision responsible for assisting quality engineering with developing and implementing quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts and six-sigma tools and analyses. Review, analyze and report quality discrepancies related to manufacturing processes. Support investigating problems; make recommendations and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. This position interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
This position may be filled at this level posted or one level higher.
30% - Prepares and analyzes quality metrics.
30% - Assists in corrective action activity and coordination.
20% - Supports analyses for determining the effectiveness of corrective actions.
20% - Performs documentation review in support of quality engineering.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
