Aerojet Rocketdyne seeks an Associate Engineer - Electronics Design Engineer who will work out of our Canoga Park, CA location.
The candidate will contribute to the design and development of electronics for military, space and/or test equipment design applications. The candidate will be developing technical specification, performing electronics design, fabrication and integration and test activities for the Avionics Electronics Design Department, as well as developing software for custom designed Avionics test equipment products. The ideal candidate should have had exposure to analog and digital design activities have hands-on experience in an electronics laboratory environment and experience in a test software programming language such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Visual Basic, or C++.
Start date is May/June 2018.
Working under direct supervision and following specific, detailed instructions or established procedures:
20% - Component, sub-system, and/or system level hardware development test planning, test conducting, and data analysis.
20% - Electronics circuit design and fabrication of electronics hardware in support of integration and testing.
20% - Support the coordination of design, manufacturing and test activities, with other internal organizations such as engineering, manufacturing, quality.
20% - Perform engineering circuit analysis as required in support of program tasks.
20% - Presentation of test and or analysis results at internal and external meetings.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering technology discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Emphasis in Analog, Digital or Power design required. Electrical or Electronics Design Major preferred. Experience in an electronics laboratory environment and/or experience in developing software a desired.
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
